かつて、まだ平均寿命がさほど長くなかった頃、「自分の年齢に９０を足した数値は高血圧として危険があまりない」と言われていました。
今は最高血圧が140を超えると薬が処方されてしまいますが、私は「年齢+90」論で差支えないと思っています。
60代の私は、最高血圧が150前後だったので、家族は病院へ行け、とか薬を飲めといいましたが、ずっと聞こえてないふりをしていました。
そんな私が、まじめに高血圧と向き合おうと思ったのは、実は「白内障の手術」の時です。

今回の記事は、私の体験を基にした内容ですが、同じテーマで教科書的なブログも書いています。

最高血圧の数値が180越えは要注意！200を超えると危険です。

頭が痛くないですか？
若年性白内障だった私は50代で手術を受けました。
（話が違いますが、私が人生の中で一番後悔していることは、安易に白内障の手術を受けてしまったことです）
部分麻酔で意識もはっきりしているし、周りの人の気配も全部わかる状態での人生初めての手術。
誰に聞いても白内障の手術は、簡単で、その後の快適さは比べ物にならないにならない・・と言われて、すごくお気楽に受けた手術。
特に緊張はなかったと思うのですが、実はとても緊張していたらしく、手術中にどうも最高血圧が200越えをしていたようです。
本来の白内障の手術は問題なく進んでいたようですが、余りの血圧の上がり具合に、ドクターや看護士さんが慌てられました。
「頭痛くないですか？」
「ゆっくり息をしてください」
「普段、血圧高いですか？」
その慌てようを察知した私が怖くなって、ますます血圧が上がるという悪循環。
でも・・・・・
待てよ・・・・
今日の白内障の手術には、何の不安なく挑んだけど、歯医者は違う。
前の晩からそわそわし、怖くて・・・恐怖で・・・
つまり、そんなときは血圧を計測していないけど、200越えしながら治療を受けていたんじゃないか？
その時の私の常識では、血圧が200を超える事なんて、異常事態と思っていた。
思い返せば、妊娠中、一時期、決まって17時なると心臓がドキドキし始め、頭が痛くなり不安に陥るんだけど19時くらいには落ち着く・・・という事がありました。
担当の先生に聞くと、血圧が上がっているんじゃないか？・・・・という事で測ってみと190とか200越え。
その時のしんどさは半端ではなく「死」と隣り合わせだったと言っても過言ではないくらい辛く、怖かった。
だから200越えは死と隣り合わせ・・・というイメージ。
歯医者さんで、そうなったらどうしよう・・・・
血圧はちょっと真剣に考えなくては・・・・
と白内障の手術の最中に決意しました。
血圧の数値について
血圧が１８０越えは、放置しておくには危険な数値でしょう。
ただ、血圧は心因的な原因(緊張、ショックなど)で簡単に２０～３０くらいは跳ね上がるといわれています。
手術中や（多分部分麻酔で意識があったから）歯医者さんで血圧の数値が跳ね上がることは、実感していないだけで結構あるようです。
私は、早朝高血圧なので毎朝計測します。
3回計測してその平均を取りますが、10～30の値の変化があることは珍しい事ではありません。
最高血圧数値が１６０くらいの人でも、簡単に１８０くらいまで、跳ね上がることは頻繁にありますし、時には２００越えをすることもあります。
200越えの時はちょっと異常です。
もう一度深呼吸をして測りなおして見ても高い数値をたたき出したら、病院で相談することをお勧めします。

治療を必要とする高血圧の基準は？
高血圧とは、正常者の血圧より高い数値を持続している状態のことを言います。
最近、高血圧の定義が変わりましたが、日本高血圧学会では、危険がないのは、
伸縮期血圧（上が）が１４０mmHg、拡張期血圧（下が）が９０mmHgと定義されました。
常に血圧の数値が１８０越えの場合は、放置せず治療を受けるべきです。
血圧の数値が２００を超えるということは非常事態です。
が、先ほども書きましたように、精神的な作用（緊張など）で突発的に血圧が上昇することもありますので、
常日頃から自分の血圧の数値の変移を把握しておくことが大切です。
出来れば計測の時間も決めて、朝と夜、2回以上計測することをお勧めします。
高血圧はなぜ怖いのでしょう？
高血圧は、脂質異常症と同様、自覚症状があまりありません。
が、頭痛、頭重感、めまい、耳鳴りなどが実は高血圧が原因の場合もあります。
高血圧がさらに進むと、動悸、呼吸困難、胸痛、むくみや夜間尿、足の痛み、しびれ
などが起こるようになります。
高血圧を放置しておくのは大変危険です。
普段自覚症状がなくても、ある日突然、脳血管障害や心臓系の病気を引き起こす危険があります。
高血圧は、脂質異常症(高コレステロール血症)、喫煙とともに心臓病の３大危険因子の一つです。
伸縮期血圧(高い数値)が正常より１０mmHg高くなるごとに、
心臓系の病気にかかる危険率が３０％増えるという報告もあります。
血圧の数値が１５０/９０mmHg位の人は、１２０/８０mmHG位の人と比べて、
心臓の病気にかかる危険は２．５倍も増加するといわれています。
高血圧を放置するとこんな病気になる危険性があります。
脳血管の病気
★脳出血・・・硬化した脳の細動脈に圧力がかかって血管が破裂して起こる
★脳梗塞・・・動脈硬化で内側が狭くなったところに、血栓ができて血管が詰まり、血液が流れなくなる。
心臓の病気
★狭心症・・・冠状動脈が動脈硬化や攣縮（けいれん）のため狭くなって、
一時的に血液が流れず、胸に締め付けられるような痛みが来る
★心筋梗塞・・・冠状動脈の血流が完全に途絶えて、心筋が働かなくなり
激しい痛みとともに倒れる。命にかかわる。
腎臓の病気
★腎硬化症・・・腎臓の小動脈が動脈硬化を起こして、
糸球体と尿細管の働きが悪くなる。血尿やタンパク尿が出る
★腎不全・・・血液をろ過して尿を作る働きが衰える。身体に老廃物がたまって血圧が一層上昇し，
食欲不振になったり、水分が溜まって浮腫む。
その他の血管の病気
動脈壁は、内膜、中膜、外膜の３層からなり、中膜は更に何層かに分かれています。
動脈硬化が進んで中膜が弱くなると、高血圧に耐えられず、
そこに血液が侵入して２層に分かれさけることがあります。
これが解離性大動脈瘤といわれるものです。
また高血圧になると、すでに動脈硬化があった場合は、抹消動脈が閉塞を起こして血液が流れなくなることもあります。
これは主に膝から下に起こり足が痛くなったり、冷たく感じたり、もっとひどくなると、休み休みでなければ歩けなくなる危険性もあります。
危険な時間帯と言うのもあります。
狭心症や心筋梗塞の発作は起床後数時間に多く発症することが解っています。
(朝は危険！！要注意！！）
目覚め直後は、血圧を上げるホルモンが増えるため血圧の数値が高くなります。
これはモーニングサージと言われ、この時脈拍数も急速に上がって
心臓が活発に働き出して多くの酸素が必要となっています。
ところが早朝は、心臓へ入る血液量が少なく、血液も睡眠中の水分蒸発によってドロドロ血になってて固まりやすいため、血流が滞って心臓に十分な酸素を送り込めず、心筋虚血発作が起こりやすくなるのです。
高血圧の人は、早朝の運動は危険な場合がありますので、気をつけましょう。
また、急に起き上がらず、ゆっくりと体を慣らしながら・・・・
ベッドの中でゆっくりストレッチなどをするのも良いでしょう。
朝の血液は粘り気があるので、寝る前のコップ一杯のお水、朝一番のお水(白湯ならなお良い)を飲んで、水分不足の危険から身体を守りましょう。
危険なドロドロ血をサプリメントでサラサラ血にすることが可能です。
まとめ
高血圧は脂質異常症と同様、自覚症状がなく、気づいたときはかなり進行して言う危険性があります。
血圧の数値が気になるようであれば、家庭でも決まった時間に血圧を測定して、まずは自分の血圧の数値を把握しましょう。
正常数値の範囲を超えている場合は、医者の指示に従って、必要であれば投薬などの治療に入ります。
が、高血圧の薬は、高血圧を治すものではなく、数値を下げる、血液をサラサラにするなどの
目的のもので、薬なので、当然副作用もあります。
高血圧を治すのは、やはり生活改善です。
食事内容の見直し、運動の習慣化、休養をしっかりとる、ストレス対策など、自分の身体を守れるのは自分です。
